Estimator - Electrical

We're seeking a talented and experienced Electrician or Estimator to join our clients dynamic & fast expanding team, in Portsmouth, Hampshire. If you're passionate about electrical work and have a knack for accurate estimating or want to learn how to be an estimator, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately estimate the cost of electrical projects, including labour, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare detailed cost proposals and submit them to clients within deadlines.
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure accurate estimating.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Electrician or Estimator.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent math and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
