The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager to lead the security assessment function. Reporting to the Head of Cyber and Information Security, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance Framework that aligns with the business objectives and ensures regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with internal and external auditors and regulatory agencies, and manage a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst within your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust Governance, Risk, and Compliance Framework, incorporating industry standards such as Cyber Essentials/Plus, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulations, and information security policies.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies to maintain appropriate documentation.
- Lead, manage, and develop a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst within your team.
About You:
- Proven experience in governance, risk, and compliance management within an IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks (Cyber Essentials/Plus, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
