Mechanical Design Engineer

Murray McIntosh are searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a key client of ours as detailed below:

This role will be predominantly focused on producing CAD designs, drawings and models with some calculations required but far more CAD than calcs.

Experience required:

• Previous Mechanical Design Engineering experience
• Producing CAD designs
• Carry out basic calculations.
• Able to write supporting technical documentation.
• Solidworks exp would be advantageous.
• Previous experience updating BOMs.
• Experience of Defence/Marine sector would be an advantage.

This role will involve working on site 5 days per week, 1 day a week at home might be possible later down the line but isn't guaranteed at this stage.
