Engineering Team Lead – Portsmouth - £60,000 - £65,000 pa
An innovative start up are looking for an Engineering Team Lead to join their R&D team designing next generation zero-emission technologies in the marine sector.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team, working alongside Systems, Electrical, Mechanical & Electronics Engineers.
- Leading design & project delivery for all aspects of engineering and production.
- Ensure designs meet specification requirements and projects are delivered on time.
- Oversee quality management processes and implement improvements.
Key Skills/Experience:
- HND/Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or another relevant discipline
- Experience in team & project management
- Great communication & leadership skills
- Strong experience in complex/hi-tech systems, ideally in regulated industries (automotive, marine, aerospace etc.)
- Strong background in electrical/electronic based systems
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of control systems/power distribution systems
- Integrating electrical/electronic/mechanical or hydraulic systems
Any mix of the following is nice to have:
- Experience in the Marine industry
- Knowledge or experience in powertrain or propulsion systems
- Experience with electric vehicles
