Capgemini are hiring within Engineering, for Defense & Space projects, based in Portsmouth.

There are several permanent roles available. We're looking for process driven individuals with good attention to detail who have experience in Thermal stress design, Telecom payload design, Telecom equipment, earth observation, Instrumentation & support to connected Intelligence

Skills:

Contribute to Design DMU reviews throughout the Project Customisation & Detailed Design phases. (Including minutes and actions on a regular basis).

• Ensure DMU and all MDO outputs meet the quality requirements as defined within the applicable design check process, including adherence to the DDMS and 3dx procedures. (All outputs must be checked, signed and endorsed by the technical MDO Lead before release).
• Responsible for adherence to interface requirements and within defined volume constraints
• Responsible for clash detection analysis
• Responsible for manufacturability of design with cost considerations

Responsibility to make sure 3DX CAD design best practices are followed, as outlined.

Minimum requirements

• Must be Eligible to clear SC
• Onsite 100% for the first 3-6 months
• Hybrid working 3 days/ week onsite thereafter.
• Experience in using 3DX & Delmia package
