Area Manager Waste Management

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an experienced Area Manager/Regional Manager to join a leading business in the Waste Management Sector.
Our client is a leading business within the Waste/Energy sector, looking for an Area Manager to join their team.
As the Area Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and leading sites across the Portsmouth/Basingstoke area
- Managing operations over three key areas including, business management, transfer station management and operations
- Support and develop new and existing business for the sites and expand existing portfolio
- Lead and develop other business managers to deliver on commercial strategy
- Create and implement a short and medium term strategy for the businesses across your area
- Support the commercial manager where necessary
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Extensive experience in a management level role
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience of leading high performance teams and demonstrating change within a business
- Transport management qualification is desirable
- A full UK Driving licence is essential for this role
- The ability to travel to various sites across Portsmouth/Basingstoke and surrounding areas
