Electrical Shift Engineer

A fantastic opportunity to work for a top Facilities Maintenance company who are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Shift Engineer to cover a static site in Portsmouth. This is a permanent position paying a salary of up to 36,000 per annum, plus a shift allowance of over 3'000.

Job Role:

You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week (shift pattern including day shifts, late shifts and 1 weekend in 4)

Engineers are expected to be very technically strong with a desire to work in a demanding yet rewarding environment.

The role of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer is to carry out the servicing and reactive repairs to electrical services.

Carry out routines unsupervised (PPM and reactive), diagnose and repair faults on electrical and building services (L8, AHU maintenance, fire alarms, lighting testing, lighting repairs etc)

The successful candidate must have:

• Experience in electrical building services
• Able to travel to Portsmouth
• At least one of: City & Guilds 236 Parts A & B, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance, B Tech Level 3 Electrical Apprenticeship or 17th / 18th Edition
• Able to pass a DBS Check
